Expanding Choice
In todays blog post we are going to explore some of the recent shifts within the collective, where we are being pushed toward choices surrounding love vs. fear. In previous posts I have explained how our world, our beliefs, our perceptions & experiences are not as black & white as we are conditioned to believe.
Although duality & balance is a greater part of the universe & the laws in which we operate & exist within. We as a collective are actively being pushed toward going beyond such intense contrasts of experience. As important as it is to understand & recognise simplicity, it is as equally important to recognise & honour our complexity.
If you existed as the embodiment of LOVE, how would you live your life?
p.s. you are the embodiment of love. you are on a journey of remembering this.
In this understanding, we will explore how fear is one level of our existence in which we are programmed to avoid our ever expanding & evolving self, or we can choose to accept it.
Choosing from love means we choose to accept & be open to more of ourselves. Through these choices we are actively agreeing to take on experiences that may bring on a diverse & intense range of emotions, thoughts, beliefs, actions, cycles & more.
Many of which we might not enjoy, expect, or feel like we have asked for.
Choosing from a space of love may also bring on more fear, for the exact purpose of you reaching a higher level of acceptance for self & your experience of self.
Through the choice of your own will you can experience an infinite number of selves, all of which you can further embody or evolve beyond. This is the choice of love vs fear. To choose from fear, is to stay as the same self, experiencing your current & past cycles over & over again. Or you can choose from love, where you will experience more of yourself, through pain, joy, fear, passion, sadness, & especially more love.
Although, choosing from love does not inherently equal simplicity & peace. Simplicity & peace are choices of their own. In truth, everything is a choice.
By our own will we decide who we are & who we become. It is our perception, beliefs, & ability to expand our awareness, & our acceptance of self & our experiences, which creates opportunities for peace, ease & simplicity in our realities.
Gravitating toward Alignment
As individuals, we operate in a way that reflects not only our level of self-awareness but also our innate strength, willpower & courage.
It takes bravery & strength to choose the level of growth & evolution of self that our self-awareness is highlighting.
The collective is currently experiencing more & more of themselves. The shadow, the light, the fear & the love. All of which is within you, & is being reflected to you in your physical & non-physical realities. For some these experiences are seemingly more intense, & for others, it is subtle & can often go unnoticed. This too, is dependent on your self-perception, & level of self-awareness. The more aware you are of yourself, the more aware you are of the universe you are experiencing.
The universe that is you.
The difficult part is then choosing to accept & operate from love when there are parts of you being reflected in your world - parts that you may be triggered by. This is your shadow. However, the shadow does not & cannot exist without the light. There is always a balance of both, & it is up to your self-perception, awareness, & willpower, for how you will choose to live from it.
So, when people speak of ‘Alignment’ it is the path that comes directly from YOU. This is a path that is created from your most authentic experience of self, which is ever expanding, as is the universe. You may feel pulled towards parts of yourself that you have not yet experienced, just as you will feel pulled to parts of yourself that you have experienced over & over. The choice is then between comfort & discomfort.
Will you choose to find comfort in the discomfort of experiencing a version of yourself that you have not yet seen, embodied, practiced, honoured, loved or accepted?
Awakening & Following Your Hearts Desires
Today's blog post reflects much of the recent energetic shifts & emerging energies of the past few weeks. There has been a build-up within the collective, where many are being encouraged to explore heart-based desires & inspirations. You may have noticed an increasing need or sense of urgency surrounding the feelings or thoughts based on…
…“what do I want?”
Much of societal conditioning pushes us to be focused on & inspired by the expectations, wants, needs & judgments of others. You may have also noticed how much of what you have desired or strived for in the past has been because of others.
Now is the time to ask yourself what it is that YOU truly desire. Allow this question to be applied to every aspect of your life. The more you ask, the more your heart feels safer & more comfortable to answer, & the more you will give yourself the space & time to listen to it.
Awakening your Desire
This process is one that may incite fear. As many of the collective have been discouraged to listen to, trust & follow our hearts desires. It is entirely normal to feel fear when it comes to desiring or wanting for yourself. The goal here is to be aware of the fear & to better understand where it is coming from.
What limiting beliefs support the fear that arises when you desire something for yourself?
Once you can understand & be aware of the source of the fear, it helps you to detach & separate yourself from the fear. The fear is not you. The fear is not the only possible outcome. The fear is not your truth, if you choose otherwise.
You have the capacity to choose to follow your desire, whilst moving through the fear. The fear dissipates once you choose to follow your hearts desires. The fear is essentially an Invitation to evolve. When you choose to be & do from your heart space, from YOUR true desires, you evolve, & embody more of your authentic self.
You become more of YOU.
Identifying your Desire
Another difficult part of this process is being able to identify YOUR TRUE DESIRES. There are many ways in which you can do this. There are many ways in which the heart, body & soul speak to us & guide us towards more of ourself.
Your intuition is a direct reflection of your hearts desires. As it is also a direct reflection of your future self & path. There is never a wrong decision or path, as every path allows you to experience more of yourself, even sometimes through the path of experiencing what is not yourself. To know who you are, you must experience everything, so you can decide who you are not. This process requires acceptance, forgiveness & understanding.
When your intuition speaks to you, it is always your choice to listen & to choose your path forward. No matter the choice, you will always come to a greater understanding of yourself. However, the path that is guided by your intuition is one that Is connected to your true heart-based desires. The ones that originate from a self beyond fear & conditioning. The ones that are encompassed in freedom & unconditional love.
Guided Meditation: Awaken your Awareness of the Hearts Desires
To help you establish a ‘greater’ connection to your heart space so that you can listen to & follow your desires, here is a guided meditation I have created for you.
Find a space that is soft, relaxing & brings you a feeling of peace. Find a spot where you can sit or lay & ease into comfort. When you are in that space, allow your body to relax. Focus on your breath & allow yourself to fall deeper & deeper into relaxation with every inhale & exhale. Allow yourself to soften & soften. Allow your body to relax. Let the tension flow & fall away softly. Become aware of these feelings, & notice the sensations in your gut space & heart space. How does it feel? Explore that feeling, & become aware of the thoughts that come. Thank the thoughts for showing themselves. Thank your gut space & heart space for showing you how they feel. Thank yourself for feeling & thinking. Thank yourself for finding comfort & for allowing ease.
Now begin to draw attention to the mind space. Become aware of how busy it feels. Is there calmness? Or is there restlessness? Whatever the feelings in the mind space, let yourself feel thankful for it. As you feel gratitude for the mind space & its expressions, allow your focus to drop into your heart space. Begin this by focusing on the physical feelings of your heart. Is there a heaviness? Is there a softness? Is there any discomfort? Is there any aches or pains? Is there any tightness? Is there contentness?
Now begin to explore these physical feelings, & slowly shift into the emotions. If there is pain, how does make you feel emotionally? Let your focus stay in the heart space. Let yourself feel the emotion that is sitting there. Let yourself relax into the emotion. Let your body find ease in the physical & emotional feelings. Let your breath calm you & hold space for your feelings. Let yourself feel all that you are feeling in your heart. Let yourself feel thankful for all these heart space feelings. Let yourself sink deeper into the rest of your heart space. Know that your heart space capactity is infinite. There is always more to feel. More joy, passion, excitement, curiosity, love, gratitude, desire.
Let yourself explore the other feelings. Find the joy, & embrace it. Thank the joy. Find the passion, & embrace it. Thank the passion. Find the excitement, & embrace it. Thank the excitement. Find the love, & embrace it. Thank the love. Find the gratitude, & embrace it. Thank the gratitude. Find the desire, & embrace it. Thank the desire. Focus on the feelings in the heart space & let it flow into the rest of your body. Feel it in your chest, your belly, your hips, pelvis, legs, feet, back, arms, hands, throat, & head. What thoughts accompany these greater feelings. Where does the joy take you? Where does the passion take you? Where does the excitement take you? Where does the love take you? Where does the gratitude take you? Where does the desire take you? Follow where these emotions take you. Let them expand inside your whole body. Let your mind bring thought to these emotions. Let yourself create a path that follows the joy, the passion, the excitement, the love, the gratitude & the desire.

Reconnecting to Self
In today's blog post, we will explore the importance of, & the how-tos associated with, reconnecting to self.
This topic may seem inherently spiritual, & in many ways it is, although this is highly dependent on your personal beliefs surrounding spirituality & faith.
The purpose of this blog post is to be the first of many, in a new series of writings, where I will explore the expansive nature of the spiritual & human beings that we are.
The term ‘reconnecting’ implies that there is already a disruption, or a disconnect that needs to be re-established. For some, this may feel true, & for others, this may not resonate. The connection we have to our-self is something that no one else has the power over (unless it is given). Our connection to self is entirely our own.
Thus, the meaning behind this ‘reconnection’ is purely about bringing an expanded awareness for those of you who want to go deeper & embody a “stronger” connection to self. As well as, a more expanded understanding - enlightenment - of who you are.
The Self
First, let's begin by questioning the ‘self’.
Who is the self? Who is your-self? Is it all of you? Is it your identity? Is it your perception of yourself, vs anothers? Is it the version of you that you choose to actively be? Is it your subconscious? Is it shared between the unconsciousness & consciousness of your existence? Is it your thoughts? Is it your feelings? Is it your soul? Is it your energy?
Is it a culmination of everything that you are & all that you have the potential to be?
Is it the self that you want to be?
If this is the case, & your idea of true self is the self that you aspire & desire to be - who are you right now? What is it about your current self that seems ‘not enough’, ‘not whole’, ‘not ready’, or ‘not you’?
Maybe your true self comes from a place of unconditional acceptance for the whole of your being - your humanness, your ego, your spirituality, & your ability to experience life & everything that it entails. Maybe the self that you desire to be, exists within you & is simply waiting to be accepted & loved unconditionally.
Who you are is dependent on who you allow yourself to be.
It is an authentic appreciation & acceptance of your whole existence, as you are right now, as well as, all that you have been & all that you will or could be.
Reconnection
So, when you think about it, reconnecting to self is as simple as accepting & honoring all that you presently are. It is the appreciation of your beingness. Your physical & energetic self. Your humanness & spirituality.
Tapping into presence allows you to be, & then experience the many parts of you - the whole of you - & all that is available to you in the moment.
The only true disconnect to self is the perspective & belief that you are not already connected to who you are. That you are not your whole self.
When you feel less “yourself” it is because you are experiencing parts of yourself that might not yet be grounded, processed, accepted, loved, or understood. Our experience of our external & internal reality is us experiencing the many facets of ourselves.
How we perceive these experiences is wholly dependent on subconscious beliefs, programming & conditioning, & all of the beliefs that we allow to make up who we believe or expect ourselves to be.
It is the pre-conceived judgment of self that we project onto our internal & external experiences of ours & other selves that we have not yet opened up too - or in other words, become enlightened to.
Meditations for Presence & ‘Reconnection’
There are many ways for us to individually tap into presence & to truly be in the moment. Meditation is one of the easiest ways to establish a strong & healthy practice for presence. You can choose to follow these meditative scripts & visualisations, or instead, I implore you to tap into your preferred path to presence. There are no right or wrongs, & it is as simple as appreciating & becoming truly aware of yourself in the present moment.
A true acknowledgment of your being - your existence.
Meditation Script: Affirmations
Repeat these affirmations over & over, until you no longer feel the need to remind yourself of your expanding presence.
The purpose of these affirmations is to honour your ability to ‘establish’ a true connection to self.
These help you to realize just how connected you always are, even when you aren’t always presently aware of your whole self.
In this moment I am becoming deeply aware of my breathing. I feel my breath as I inhale & exhale. Inhale & Exhale. Inhale & Exhale. With every breath, I feel my awareness expanding for the present moment. I am becoming aware of all that I am feeling. I am becoming aware of all that I am thinking. I am becoming aware of all that I am, in this moment. It is so easy to be who I am. It is so peaceful to be who I am. It is so freeing to be who I am. In this moment I am all of me. In this moment I am my whole & true self. I am everything I need to be. I am everything I desire to be. I am.
Meditation Script: Visualisation
Use these visualizations during a time of rest, relaxation or mediation
The purpose of these visualizations is to help you feel, see & trust the “strengthening” connection to self.
Find yourself in a comfortable or relaxing position, upright or lying down, & take the time to focus on & slow down your breathing.
Begin your visualisations by imagining an infinite & expansive black void, almost space-like. Then begin to visualize yourself, as you physically are now, floating in this black void. Expand your awareness of feeling, & sight, & all that arises as you lay or sit, floating in this endless black space-like void. Where there is nothingness, & the potential for everything. There is only you, in the nothingness. There is only you in the presence of the potential of everything. There is only you & your presence, in all that is.
There is no past, & no future. Just you in the emptiness, & the fullness of this present moment of your existence. Allow yourself to feel fully immersed in all that you are - in all that exists. Floating, being, basking, in your-self. Because there is nothing but you, & there is everything in you. In this moment right now, it is all YOU.
All that you are, & all that you are being.
The Infinite Self
I hope these meditations & affirmations help you to feel more deeply connected & in tune with all of yourself & all that you presently are.
Today’s blog post has been so incredible to write & to explore the many ideologies behind the ‘self’. Know, that these are just some of my current thoughts, beliefs & feelings toward the ideas, the knowing & the loving of ‘self’.
Much of what I have written may cease to be meaningful to me as I continue to shift, explore & accept more of my true & whole ‘self’, & whoever I am to be.
Know that you are a ‘self’, that is truly ever-expanding, evolving & shifting. You are a ‘self’ that cannot be limited to just your humanness or spirituality.
You as a whole, are undefinable, limitless & infinite.
